International Conference on Statistics in Science, Business and Engineering 2012 Call for Papers

International Conference on Statistics in Science, Business and Engineering 2012 Statistics, Operations Research and Actuarial Science play important roles in providing solutions to technical and managerial problems. When applied correctly, the provide optimal solution to difficult problems, and hence, enhances the chances of making the right decisions.
The Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia together with our co-organizers University of Macau, Centre for Engineering Education Research, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and several socities which include IEEE Computer Society, Institute Statistics of Malaysia (ISM), Management Science/Operation Research Society of Malaysia (MSORSM), Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communication (SDIWC) have, thus, taken this initiative by organizing the International Conference on Statistical in Science, Business and Engineering (ICSSBE2012) to be held on 10th - 12th September 2012, in Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. In addition to the regular presentations, a pre-conference workshop will also be held on 8th - 9th September 2012.
The ICSSBE2012 embarks to bring together both emerging young as well as well established academicians, researches and professionals who are actively pursuing methodological research in statistics, operations research and actuarial science and their applications in various allied fields on a single platform. The aim is to provide a forum for experts and young researchers to discuss recent progress in theories and applications, and hence provide clues into new directions in research.
The Proceedings of ICSSBE2012 will be included in the IEEE Xplore database and has been registred in the IEEE website conference listing. It will normally be indexed leading to SCOPUS listing..
