Willkommen Das “Wiener Forum für Analytische Philosophie” ist ein Verein zur Förderung akademischer Forschung im Bereich der analytischen Philosophie.
Es bezweckt den Austausch und die Diskussion zwischen analytischen Philosophen anzuregen und richtet sich an Alle, die Interesse am Fachbereich haben. Um dies anbieten zu können, werden regelmäßig Treffen abgehalten. Im Zuge dieser können Arbeiten präsentiert, Texte gelesen und neue Forschungsergebnisse diskutiert werden. Darüber hinaus dient der Verein der Organisation von Workshops, Tagungen und Vorträgen.
Mission statement
The Vienna Forum for Analytic Philosophy aims to support professional work in the area of analytic philosophy. It is based at the University of Vienna and was founded in 2009. The ultimate goal is to intensify research, exchange and discussion among students and scholars. In order to provide this we have regular meetings, organize lectures and workshops and foster national and international contact to individuals and groups interested in analytic philosophy. As we are the only society in this vein in Vienna, we consider it as an important task to establish the analytic approach to philosophy as such and bring its substantial contribution to the attention of a wider audience.
